The Rabbi Search Committee has invited Rabbi Tal Sessler to lead services on Shabbat, February 16 and 17^th.   He is a candidate to replace Rabbi J.B. Sacks and we are excited to have everyone in our congregation meet him and experience a Shabbat with him.

Rabbi Sessler was born in Tel Aviv and grew up in London. He received his PhD in Political Philosophy from the New School University in 2005 and his Rabbinic Ordination and MA in Hebrew Letters from the Jewish Theological Seminary in 2011.  He is a professor of Jewish Thought at the Academy for Jewish Religion and was Adjunct Professor of Rabbinic Literature of Judaism.  He has published four books on Jewish philosophy.
