Inclusion is a strong Jewish value and yet it has often been a challenge to put into practice. We are all welcoming but in what ways do we welcome others? In this intriguing presentation we will hear about how Judaism welcomes and embraces all Jews, including the LGBTQ community, people of color, the disabled, blended families, and more. Rabbi J.B. Sacks is the first openly gay Conservative rabbi and he will integrate his experiences into this session and direct our thinking on how we ourselves welcome others. Rabbi Sacks will also speak to us on how the landscape has changed over the past several decades and continues to change within the Jewish world. Come join us for this insightful and inspiring conversation.
